Sorry I wasn't there this time in person (although I still had a presence elsewhere that weekend ;-) I was having a great time at Reboot in Copenhagen with some of your compatriots (Bernie Goldbach, Maryrose Lyons, Tom Raftery among others).

Some haven't submitted either an assignment or an explanation as to why they have missed or ignored the deadline. A very small number have offered work that isn't in the ball-park at PG Diploma level.
When you take these away from the 212-odd on our course you get what can reasonably be described, in a general way, as 'most'.

For anyone interested in doing game design with their class or who just want to have a look here is the link to DITs competition for game design and a link to the software for designing games.

www.comp.dit.ie/games/

www.gamemaker.nl

Gamemaker is the software used for game design. It uses a very simple drag and drop method for design and the website has some very useful resources and links.

hmmmm.... well if I had paid up and signed up and all of that and the system was still giving me grief I'd be on to the Admin people like a shot. But that's probably just me...

Hatch 9 in the Admin building is, as far as I know, the place to go seeking solutions.

The course listing is the term conventionally used to describe a group of students who have successfully registered for access to an on-line course or to the on-line element of a conventional course.
The simplest way to check is to go to your UCD Connect page and click on the 'My Courses' button near the top of the page, then follow the links to the Blackboard page where you should see the names of all UCD course to which you are affiliated.
